Reviews

Being an artist myself, I am always interested in the studio's of my colleagues. because from visiting his/her studio I can appreciate the work of artist even more. I chose this book, not only because I like the work of Henry Moore but, because I have met him and his wife Irina in their house in Forte Dei Marmi, in Italy, a few times and I was at Hoglands in Much Hadham. I own various books about Henry Moore's work and some catalogs with photographs of him in his Much Hadham studio; and I have a signed copy of John Hedgecoe's publication of Henry Moore's work and studio's. But this book is certainly an addition to my library, as it contains many up to now unpublished photographs. And it certainly shows the modest colleague as I used to know him.
